As the cheers from the royal wedding begin to die down, the magic continues for the newly minted royal couple as they head off to a magical honeymoon. Royal watchers everywhere have been guessing as to the secret venue for the couple's romantic getaway. Insiders at DisGear though have found out that the couple will be bucking the traditional royal honeymoon on Europe's secluded beaches for something a little more American.
That's right, the royal couple will be making their way to Disney World. Unbeknownst to many, the Duchess of Sussex, is a secret Disney fanatic. Her dream before getting engaged to Prince Harry was to get married at the Disney Wedding Pavilion on the edge of Seven Seas Lagoon, but with tradition, her destiny was to wed at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
We are not quite sure as to which resort the couple will be staying, but our guess is they will be staying at the Grand Floridian in the finely appointed Grand Suite on the fifth floor. With sweeping views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, Cinderella's Castle and much of the Disney property from the balconies, the Grand Suite offers luxury from the top to bottom.
Rumor has it that they will be taking an after hours royal carriage ride around the Magic Kingdom. Which will culminate in a private viewing of the Happily Ever After fireworks show. Reports say that the royal couple have requested to stay a night in Walt's Apartment in the castle, but we have not heard if this request has been granted.
Other details of the royal couple's honeymoon as scarce, but we will keep you up to date as more details come.
